MATTHEW 1
We find the genealogy of Joseph, the step-father of the Messiah and husband of Mary. Joseph remains faithful to his proposal to Mary and to the plan of God as spoken by the angel. He remains faithful to love, care for and honor Mary and eventually in rearing Jesus. It is Joseph the faithful one who first speaks the name of Jesus in public.

Mary found favor in the sight of God and you have too. It was difficult and troubling for Mary to receive the Word from the Angel that she was blessed and highly favored. That was her identity and in her mind she was having a hard time believing it. This message will help believers receive their true identity and like Mary confess "Be it unto me according to thy word!" I am a favored one.
